ST. HELEN’S PARISH LENTEN TALK ON THE LIFE AND WORK OF DOROTHY DAY the cofounder of the Catholic Worker Movement, and a peace activist, whose process of canonisation was opened by St. John Paul II in the year 2000, will be held in the Parish Hall on Wednesday 20th March at 7pm. It will be presented by Martha Hennessy (Dorothy’s seventh granddaughter), a retired occupational therapist and a renowned Catholic peace advocate. Martha will be on a UK tour in March and would take some time from her peace advocacy and engagements in the Universities of London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow to speak to our Parishioners and answer our questions on the life and work of her grandmother. Tea and coffee will be served. All welcome.
